The client must provide Lizzie's Little Lodgers with the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to their pets/home in the case of an emergency. In respect of pets, should we be unable to contact you or the emergency contact, Lizzie's Little Lodgers reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which is in the best interests of the animal.
If your pet requires medical attention from the vet we will transport them there for treatment. We do not charge for this service, but any costs for treatment, no matter how they occurred, must be met by you. Your pet will be treated under your name and address.
In the extremely unlikely event that your pet passes away whilst in our care, we will contact you immediately and follow your wishes.
Lizzie's Little Lodgers must be alerted to any behavioural problems, special requirements or medical needs with their pets at the time of booking.
Lizzie's Little Lodgers will care for your animal as if they were our own. Unfortunately, we cannot be held liable for any loss, injury or death to animals either inside or outside of the home whilst in our care. All pets are left entirely at the owners risk.
Additional Terms and Conditions for animals boarding in Lizzie's Lodge
For the safety of all rabbits boarding it is essential that they are vaccinated against Myxomatosis and VHD.
We will not be held responsible for any illnesses such as (but not limited to) Myxomatosis, Viral Haemorrhagic Disease, Fly strike, Mites or any other diseases.
No animals will be boarded or put in runs together unless they are a bonded pair or group.
If your pet is not collected from Lizzie's Lodge on the due day and we are unable to contact you, we will, after seven days, look to have your pet re-homed.
All dogs will be exercised on a lead unless prior agreement has been reached with Lizzie's Little Lodgers and a disclaimer form has been signed.
The client must phone or text Lizzie's Little Lodgers as soon as they return home. Lizzie's Little Lodgers will continue to visit the property and care for pets until the client has confirmed that the pet(s) are now back in their care.
We do not ask for a deposit when you make your booking so all reservations are held in good faith. However, this does mean that a place has been kept just for you so should you need to cancel a booking please inform us as soon as possible.
